Swim Day

One day on 18 of February TPS students,teachers and families were going on a bus to the Swimarama Lagoon at Panmure. Year 7’s had to choose a buddie from room 5 to take to the pool’s to look after.

We were going there to have fun and to show that our school can honor and respect others and other peoples property.

When we arrived at the pools we had to do duathlon. Where we have to swim or walk 2 lengths in the pool.After that we had to get out then run,walk and jog to our teacher Whea Petra.

When we arrive to her we have to take a picture to show that we made it to her and to show memories of what we did as a team.

After the pictures we had to jog or walk back to eat our lunch because it was morning tea.

After lunch teachers called year 5,6,7 and 8s to come and listen to the instructions after we have finished our lunch we had to sit on steps near the deep side of the pool.

While we were listening they told us what we our doing in the pool,splash pads,hydra slide and the diving board.

After all the excitement and fun all of the students,teacher and whanau were getting out of their togs and ready to go home or to school but first we thanked the owner and his lifeguards for the fun and for looking after us.

I admire my uncle Stan. I admire him because tells me what doing right and wrong in sports and when i’m learning.

My Favourite subject at school is maths its fun and educational at the same time.

My Favourite rugby team is Samoa they show honor strength to their country like the All Blacks.

My Favourite food is chicken curry its delicious when the chicken is tender.

My Learning goal for this year is asking more questions.

Example: how I will achieve this goal is that I have to improve my questions by using more deeper critical thinking skills to find out more information.

My Strength is speaking out loud and having the confidence to pronounce my work out probably.
